Levity

Levitate + Gravity = Levity.

Kicking off our Artist Spotlight series for Ultra Miami we have Levity! The Chicago-based trio may have formed back in 2019, but their journey is only just beginning. After accumulating over 5 million streams since their inception, they’ve proven themselves to be unstoppable. With a musical taste that defies any subgenre, they push the sonic boundaries of electronic dance music in each of their infectious productions.

Their sound effortlessly blends future bass, house, and dubstep, embellished with funky elements and space bass soundscapes. Aside from their strong social media presence and groundbreaking performance at Electric Forest 2023, the viral success of their smash hit “Flip It” catapulted them into the international spotlight.

John Hauldren, PJ Carberry, and Josh Tarum have come a long way since meeting at the University of Iowa in 2017, but their future looks brighter than ever. Josh, who is a full-time med student, hopes to focus on music with the group once he finishes med school.

“Levitate” to the sounds of Levity and catch them live at Ultra and on tour with INZO this spring!

Pauline Herr

Pauline Herr is an all-around inspiration in electronic dance music and has paved the way for other female artists to follow. As a DJ, producer, and vocalist, her triple-threat skills are put on full display in every single production.

Born in Wisconsin, she moved to LA in 2017 after she dropped out of nursing school to begin classes at the esteemed music production school ICON Collective. Little did she know this decision would soon launch her career, and one year later she was even awarded “Student of the Year” at ICON.

Pauline’s versatility and emotionally-fueled sound weaves throughout her favorite genres like hip-hop, trap, and future bass. Authenticity pours straight from her heart in every aspect of her music. Drawing inspiration from her own life, her songwriting is organic yet vulnerable and aims to connect with anyone who listens.

The main reason I’m doing this music thing is to make people feel something.” - Pauline Herr's interview with ICON Collective

This month marks her debut at Ultra Miami and in April she embarks on her debut headline tour so make sure to catch her on the road!
